Do all Round 5 letters have to be sent by certified mail?

Not all letters must be certified — but certified mail is strongly recommended in Round 5.

At minimum:

• At least one (1) set of credit bureau letters must be sent via certified mail

• We strongly recommend sending the last set certified

• All data furnisher letters should also be sent certified

Certified mail adds tracking, proof of delivery, and documentation that becomes critical at this stage.
