Hey there, Yusheeka Gray here with DIY Credit, and I want to talk to you about how evictions can still show up, even if it's not on your Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion credit reports. By the time you're done watching this video, you will have a very good understanding as to why this is happening and how to fix it.
The main thing that you need to understand is that Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion are just the big three credit bureaus out there, but they're not the only ones that's out there. There are actually hundreds, probably thousands of other credit bureaus out there, and some of them, many of them actually specialize in just rental history.
So if you apply for a rental property, then the property manager or the landlord may pull from the big three. But they may also pull a specialty report from one of these other credit bureaus that specialize specifically in rental history. I want you to keep this in mind whenever you're applying for rental property because if you do get denied, it's very important that you ask or request.
Who, uh, they actually pulled from so that you can dispute your eviction or whatever it is that's popping up with that particular credit bureau. All right, so I hope this information is helpful to you. I hope you learned something new.
