I received returned mail — did I do something wrong?

No — you did nothing wrong.

Returned mail happens because:

  • Credit bureau or creditor addresses change

  • Different bureaus report different mailing addresses

  • Some companies rotate or update processing locations

This is completely out of your control and does not harm your case.

The letter would need to be resent to an alternate address with your next round of disputes.
