Including copies of certified receipts:

Makes it harder for bureaus or furnishers to claim ignorance or procedural compliance
In a nutshell, gives you powerful leverage that can be used against the credit bureaus and data furnishers to remove/repair some of the negative items on your credit reports.
You keep the original receipts and only include copies with each letter.
