Do I need to notarize anything before mailing my letters?

Notarization is optional, not required.

Your package may include an optional notary statement specifically for credit bureau letters. If you choose to use it:

• You only need to get it notarized one time

• You can then make copies of that notarized statement

• Include one copy with each credit bureau letter

If getting something notarized will delay you from mailing your letters, do not wait. Simply send your letters without it.

Timely mailing is more important than notarization.
